Engaging the Public Through Social Media

Recently, I made my first plunge into social media for the purpose of business. I help organize a local event management and production company – everything from finding local entertainment, talent and labor to now working to setup their social media platforms. This is the first time that I’ve had to do this on a professional level but my lack of inexperience, along with no ‘professional’ education, has me rather nervous! However, I do have experience with social media itself so I am hopeful that if we buy twitter followers at http://buytwitternow.net for her new profile, we’ll be able to get things into motion.

The important thing is going to be able to interconnect all the social media platforns in order to get the word out. A week into this and it’s clear that she has done absolutely no work with her social media – even her Facebook page for the business is completely lacking! She hasn’t posted in weeks which is the exact opposite of what she should have been doing – when you’re trying to gain business, engaging the public and bringing attention to the event while establishing a brand with the people. Also, it’s important to be able to utilize each platform to launch content from!

This is how I’ve organized our social media platforms – from each profile we’re able to launch content that is interwoven, ensuring that it seen by multiple followers across the platforms. From here we’re able to ensure that at least some of what we’re launching is gaining exposure. It helps, too, for us to organize the nature of our advertisement as well. We can easily engage the public by utilizing the same advertisements across Facebook, LinkedIn and even Twitter. Instead of trying to create three different types of advertisements for each platform, we stick (for now) with a singular ad that becomes recognizable.
