How I Grew My Newsletter Subscriber Base Accidentally

Written on October 4, 2016 at 12:31 pm, by admin

I started to grow an email list kind of by accident. I put out a free newsletter about a topic I was passionate about. I had friends sign up because they were my friends. However, they actually were part of my marketing plan even though I did not know about it. The email newsletter software I was using made use of their social media contacts. I had found it among the Top 10 marketing software programs. I had no idea which one to pick. I just picked one that was easy for me to use. Well, the software helped me attract people who actually were interested in my newsletter. Not just friends who signed up because they were my friends and it was free.

I thought it was amazing when I got 100 people to sign up. It was incredible when I got a thousand. Read more

Our Lawn Needed More Personality

Written on September 16, 2016 at 12:32 am, by admin

One of the things that I disliked about the building my company had just purchased for our new headquarters was how stark and uninviting it looked. The building itself is really nice, but there was no landscaping done outside to make it welcoming to people. Probably even before the ink was dried, I was looking for a tree service in Nassau County that would be able to make our grounds more beautiful. I know a lot of people associate a tree service with a company that cuts or trims trees, but I knew that there were some that also did commercial landscaping.

I did not want a gardener because I was mostly interested in having trees and shrubs planted. I won’t ask a baker to cook me a steak, so I was not going to ask a gardener to plant me several dozen trees. Read more

We Know Not to Try to Do Things We Know Little About

Written on September 16, 2016 at 12:31 am, by admin

My husband and I tried to work on our roof ourselves, but I think the issue that resulted from our work is that we did not know what we were doing. We had to look for roof replacement in Manhattan NY and it would have been less if we would have just gotten someone to do the work for us in the first place. But we were trying to be cheapskates, and it caused trouble for us. This is not the first time that has happened to us because we tried to be overly-thrifty.

Neither my spouse or me know much about fixing a roof. We tried to use some products that my husband already had in our storeroom to patch up leaks found in two different rooms. Read more

Learning the Formulas is Essential

Written on September 12, 2016 at 4:30 am, by admin

My new company sent me on many different computer training courses so that I could use the different tools to my advantage. I thought I was proficient in many different computer platforms but that was not true. Every class that I took, I learned a new shortcut or even a new feature that I had not seen before. I had to learn rc spreadsheets and I knew how to use different formulas but it was really important for me to know the ones that I was going to be using on a daily basis in my new job. I am really glad that I went to the different classes. Read more

Learning All I Can About Visual Communication

Written on September 8, 2016 at 4:31 am, by admin

When I decided to take a visual communication course at a local design school, I did not make the decision lightly. I considered everything about the course and how it would help me in life. I have always had an interest in this medium, but I wanted to make sure I would be learning what I needed to be able to make a good living from it. I did not want to devote money and time to something that would not help me get a job once I had the diploma in my hand.

That is why I wanted to research what former students had to say as well as the faculty who teaches these courses. Read more

Keeping My Mother Safe and Sound

Written on September 6, 2016 at 4:30 am, by admin

Life changed for my mom when my dad died from cancer. She was used to taking care of the house while he took care of everything else, which included the bills. He made her feel safe and cared for, and it was true. He loved more than life itself, which is why he had me promise to watch over her since she would feel lost once he was no longer here. He also asked me to look into security cameras in Pompano Beach, which was a very easy promise to make and keep.

After he did go to Heaven, Mom moved closer to me. I knew she wanted to maintain a certain level of independence which is why I did ask her to move in with me. She would certainly be welcome, and she knows that. Anyway, she found a nice house about three miles from me. Read more

There Isn’t Enough Spare Time

Written on August 2, 2016 at 8:30 pm, by admin

Although there have been a lot of games that involve matching colored puzzle pieces to eliminate them from the playing field, the one that has me the most addicted is Toy Blast. There’s something about it that I can’t explain that sets it apart from the other games that are sitting on my phone. Since I used the Toy Blast hack that I found online, I don’t have to spend any money on the game, which makes it even more fun. The only problem I have is finding time in the day to play the game.

Most of the day I am at work, and I’m so busy that I don’t have a chance to play on my phone. I can maybe squeeze in a little time during my lunch break, but after I’ve eaten my food, I barely have any time to finish a level. Read more

Mixing Old and New Technologies is Fun and Interesting

Written on July 28, 2016 at 4:30 am, by admin

I like seeing a mix of old and new when it comes to technologies. I still have a working old desk telephone that was made in the 1970s. I use it every day. It is one of those heavy desk models that you probably could run over with a car and not break it. It is one of the first to use DTMF touchtones. I also carry a wooden USB flash drive in my pocket. That is what I call an interesting mix of the old and new. The flash drive in a wooden housing. I think that is neat. I have always wanted to own a cell phone in a wood housing. I think that would be really cool.

I actually collect old telephones. I have a display in my office. Every single one of the phones I have is fully functional. I have an old dial candlestick phone that has the earpiece you hold up to your ear to listen. I have several crank wall models connected to a functioning switchboard that can ring other phones in the lobby and other offices. Our kids have a lot of fun playing telephone operator. Read more

Look to the Internet to Find People Who Think Like You Do

Written on July 26, 2016 at 4:31 am, by admin

I always felt that I was not like anyone else when it comes to marriage or even being single. And I always thought that I would never find anyone who is remotely like me, but I was wrong. For example, I have never felt that I belong with just one person for life. I’ve always been interested in dating a variety of people, and anything outside of that left me unhappy. When I learned that it is possible to find threesome partners online, I was stunned that there are people out there like me. It made me happy to learn that it was possible.

I wondered what kind of people I would find. Read more

Getting Ready to Finish the Basement

Written on July 25, 2016 at 4:31 am, by admin

I bought this house about a year and a half ago, the entire place was never finished because the guy who started building it got in a bad accident. I only finished the main level and moved in. Now I am ready to finish the basement. I have decided that I am going to try to build a large coral reef aquarium. I know where I can buy clownfish and the other fish that I need, but of course this is not something that is easy or simple to maintain. You need to have a good bit of knowledge and you can not take a vacation, it all has to be done like clockwork. In fact the simple thing would be to hire a professional to manage the thing, but that is a very expensive idea and it also has the effect of not making it your own thing. You are no longer the responsible party.

Of course the idea is going to be to have a great place to entertain my friends and family. Read more

I Made New Friends at the Shooting Range

Written on May 30, 2016 at 4:31 am, by admin

When I got out of the military, I focused on finding a new place to live and another job. I had been in the military so long, that it seemed so odd to be out on my own. I felt like I was part of a strange new world, even though I had been a civilian long before I ever entered the military. Soon, I found myself missing many things that I did while serving time. For example, I missed getting to do target practice with my weapon. I went out and bought a camo rifle soon after. Read more

I Wanted to Give Up, but I Found a Solution Instead

Written on February 29, 2016 at 1:32 am, by admin

The older I got, the more I found that I was unhappy with my body and the way that I smell. That made me feel bad about myself, and it made me worry that my husband was unhappy with me as well. I went online with the hopes of learning something new, and that is when I learned about Crystal X and what it can do for women who want to do more when it comes to feminine hygiene.

I first wanted to see if I could remedy the problem myself. I began taking more showers, and that did not seem to help. Then, I switched to taking more baths. I was hoping that a nice, long soak would really solve my issue. And it did help to some extent, but not enough. I was frustrated.

I made a trip to a local store to buy some powder that I thought might help. Read more

We Know We Are Doing the Right Thing for Our Child

Written on January 9, 2016 at 5:30 pm, by admin

My husband and I were really lucky in that he had a great job that allowed me the luxury of staying home with our baby for his first years of life. But it soon became apparent that my husband would be laid off. He began looking for a new job immediately, but was having no luck. This meant that I needed to work immediately. I knew that I could find a job quite quickly. This also meant that we would need to put our son into daycare, so I went to the official site for a well known daycare in our area that I had heard about to learn more.

We had always hoped that I would be the only one who would need to care for our child until he reached the age of 5 and could start attending the elementary school near us. Read more

I Had a Great Time with My Daughter

Written on January 8, 2016 at 1:34 pm, by admin

When my daughter came home from college, I was so happy to see her. Her mother and I have missed her so much. I learned from one of my buddies that he had a father and daughter night with his teen girl. They went out and did fun things together, and it sounded like something I would love and my daughter would, too. So, I found the official site for a well known limo company in town, and I began making my plans.

My daughter loves ballet. She has been dancing since she was a little girl. I knew that a famous ballet was going to be taking place at our local theater, so I bought tickets for the two of us. My wife was so happy when she found out. Then, my wife bought our daughter a really fancy dress to wear to the performance. It was a beautiful gown that looked classy and elegant.

I reserved a limo for the night. I did not want to ruin the night by going out in my very old car. I wanted things to be magical. Read more

Almost Ready for New Year’s Eve

Written on December 30, 2015 at 1:30 pm, by admin

Of course my boss is still a pretty young man. He was born rich and he is pretty smart too. He works hard, but he likes to have a good time when he is not behind the desk at the office. He put me in charge of working out the details for the New Year’s Party and gave me a really big budget. After I did a lot of research I showed him this article about limo buses in Toronto and asked him what he thought about getting one. Of course all of the people who work here are valuable and the last thing that you want is to take them to a company sponsored party and have them drive home after they have been drinking heavily. The Hours of Upkeep in a Home

Written on December 19, 2015 at 5:31 pm, by admin

My first year of college has been one full of surprises and has turned out to be far more time consuming than I originally expected it to be. I’m ashamed to admit it but I have not even had time to do any of my own cleaning which, thankfully, has been done by a cleaning company that I found thanks to this official site. I tell you now, expecting your mother to come home and find you with dirty carpets, stacked dishes and clothes needing to be cleaned is more terrifying than taking finals worth your entire semester’s grade – real talk here, people. Every Football Game at My Leisure

Written on October 8, 2015 at 4:32 am, by admin

Football season has gone into full swing, and with that, I decided to look at new options for watching football games. On my local television channels, I can only see a few games, while the others are only shown in highlight clips, or at best, the last few minutes of the games are shown. On cable, which is what I was using, there were more games to see thanks to the extra sports channels, but I still couldn’t see all of them without paying extra for the sports package. The DirecTV pricing plans were far more attractive for the average sports watcher.

DirecTV has sports packages as well, but they don’t cost nearly as much as they do on cable. Every year it seems like cable is trying to milk more money from its customers, and the prices for their services get higher and higher. The sports package prices go up with everything else, and the only real way to get a discount on them is to be a new user, as they usually get a free year or at least a reduced price. Since I had been using cable for 4 years, I would’t have been able to get the discounts.

I became a new user of satellite, which means I got some discounts, in addition to the reduced price that I was already getting for the sports package. This made my monthly bill nearly nothing. To make it even better, I was given a DVR with my subscription, so I could record any game I wanted to, and watch them later at my convenience. Under my old cable plan, a DVR could have cost an addition $13 a month, and I would have only been able to record one game at a time, as opposed to the 4 that I get with satellite.

Planning a Guy’s Night out

Written on October 1, 2015 at 4:30 pm, by admin

A couple of my friends from college are going to be in Toronto in a couple of weeks and the four of us are thinking about going out on the town for a big night. I have been thinking that it would be best if some other person were behind the wheel, especially not me. I have to have my driver’s license to do my job and I really like the job that I have. So I have been looking for more info on the cost of renting a limousine for the night. Of course I am not thinking that I want to pay for it all myself, but I figure that a limo is not going to be all that expensive if you split the cost of it four ways. That depends a lot upon how far you go with the concept. Read more

Peachtree City Georgia Apartment Listings

Written on August 14, 2015 at 12:47 am, by admin

I am looking for a place to live in Peachtree City. Kind of a funny name, I do admit, and I had never heard of the place until a few years ago. But recently, I found a job there, and so I am going to make the move. So I need to find out about apartments for rent in Peachtree City GA and I want to find some sort of guide to apartment listings in the city. I do not really want to rent, because I think that it is smarter to own. But I do not know if I am going to be able to make it last with this company over the long run. Read more

Our Limo Was Part of Our Honeymoon Adventure

Written on August 12, 2015 at 4:30 am, by admin

My bride to be and I talked a lot about going here and going there. We were not rich, nor did we want to go in debt. However, we did want to see things we have never seen before. When we were looking for a limo service for our wedding day, we were also looking at a bunch of different things we could do in the area where we lived. Many of the things had been on both of our lists of things we wanted to do since we were children. The “go here” link for our limo service was also the go to link for our chartered tour of our local region.

We were planning a wedding and a two week away honeymoon with another week off to set up our new apartment together. We both had a total of four weeks vacation from work, and we were using three of them for our wedding and honeymoon and apartment set up. We decided to go someplace warm yet cheaper on our honeymoon for the opportunity of being able to rent a limo to tour our own local attractions. We took a week riding in a limo to see places in our own region that we had never been to before. Read more
